Harris Teeter Joins GreenChill; Partnership Officially Launches

By: By MICHAEL GARRYWASHINGTON — Harris Teeter became the latest food retailer to join the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's GreenChill Advanced Refrigeration Partnership, which was officially launched last week in a ceremony at EPA headquarters here.
The other retail participants in the program are Food Lion, Hannaford Bros., Giant Eagle, Publix Super Markets and Whole Foods Market. Hill Phoenix, Kysor/Warren, DuPont and Honeywell are the other participants. The companies were all recognized as “founding partners” of the initiative at the ceremony.
